As a key part of the company’s Annual Strategic Planning Process, final yearly performance metrics are reviewed and existing short and long-term projects are evaluated, revised, and updated. At the same time, to ensure that the company keeps abreast of new industry processes, equipment and practices, new projects are launched and driven by team members. Bi-weekly Steering Committee meetings are held throughout the year to review Key Performance Indicators and track progress on key projects. Daily KPI’s are reported and posted in the facility to keep focus on safety, quality, delivery performance and cost.

Technological Vision

During the New Product Introduction Process, a robust manufacturing review is performed with all members of the Contract Review Team. The goal is always to ensure the optimization of maximum throughput and that first-time quality is emphasized and enforced throughout the process.

Continuous Improvement

Elimetal takes great pride in offering optimal end-to-end machining solutions for all specialized and built-to-print endeavors. To meet increasingly more difficult customer technical and performance requirements, the company has been focused on Continuous Improvement projects for a number of years.  Process Mapping, Set-up and Cycle-Time Reduction, 5S, use of Kanbans and other lean tools continue to be incorporated to both improve and reduce variation within key processes. PFMEA, SPC and other quality and risk-based tools are used to drive first-time yields and First Article Inspections as required.

Continuous Improvement is a consistent theme within the company’s culture as it is driven through the use of Elimetal’s “ABC’s”.
